How to find Journal Ideas and Inspiration
Writing can be hard if you don’t utilize some basic principles that create an envoy delivering all your best stories right out of your imagination or memory. They do say that we don’t remember. Our mind plays an actual new movie of what it thinks happened and you interpret it and experience it again right then and there. Similar to reliving an experience, your brain does not know the difference between you thinking something is happening and something actually happening. Same result. An emotional response.
Utilize your emotional responses to write a story. They are a part of you. In turn they are a part of your writing. If you want to see what to write about, just base it on how you are feeling today. How was your day, week, month, or year. Looking back also elicits an emotional response and gives you another avenue to pull your inspiration from.
You hear me speaking of internal inspiration first and foremost because to look inside is to see the world just as looking at the world as a whole reflects an entire thought process. Who do you want to be and why? Who do you look up to? Write about it. Remember this is your creative piece. Have fun.
